Provide companionship and assistance to elderly community members

Key Responsibilities: Offer companionship through conversation, social activities, and emotional support. Assist with daily living activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands. Accompany elderly members to appointments, community events, or walks as needed. Provide reminders for medications and daily routines (non-medical support). Monitor and report any changes in health, mood, or behavior to family or supervisors. Encourage participation in hobbies, exercises, and social engagement. Promote a safe, respectful, and caring environment. Qualifications & Skills: Genuine compassion, patience, and empathy for seniors. Good communication and listening skills. Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality. Ability to assist with mobility and light physical tasks. Previous experience in caregiving, senior support, or community service preferred (but not always required). Work Environment: Community centers, senior residences, or private homes. Flexible hours, including possible evenings or weekends depending on client needs.
